I'm Angie Rozelaar, an illustrator, artist, author and designer based near St-Lô in Normandy, France, where I live with my family and an ever growing menagerie of cats, donkeys and hens. As a picture book illustrator and author I have worked with publishers in the UK, US and France to create many children's picture books titles that have been translated into different language as co-editions around the world.
I try to bring a childlike sense of playfulness and a joyful and anarchic spirit to my work. Gouache and crayons are my favourite medium, but I also love working with inks and watercolour. When I’m finished making a mess in my studio, I scan, collage and edit my images digitally.

In 2018 I launched Planet Cat®, a world full of my kitty creations available for license. The portfolio includes various decorative and fun collections with bright and beautiful designs that appeal to cat lovers everywhere. We have worked with companies around the globe to create an array of appealing products including tins, puzzles, books, calendars, mugs and more.
